Walletts Web have a proven track
record in the delivery of Local Authority APLAWS web sites.
We possess the technical, creative and managerial skills that enable us to :
- deliver innovative and accessible content to web users who require informational support from their Local Authority
- support the IT and publishing requirements of the Local Authority
We have recently finished a project for the Stoke on Trent Drug Action Team. The objective of this project was to deliver an accessible and thought provoking web site to teenagers, with the aim of communicating the negative and damaging effects of drug abuse. The content needed to:
- reduce the number of young people using illegal drugs, especially heroin and cocaine
- reduce the levels of re-offending by drug misusing offenders
- increase the number of drug misusers in treatment
- reduce the availability of drugs, especially heroin and cocaine, on our streets
From a development perspective, this proved to be a challenging and rewarding experience, which ultimately generated additional Local Authority work for Walletts Web. |
